OK so i know i haven't written in this blog for more than a year, but as 2009 is just beginning I thought this might be a good time to update the world about me (as much as i can without boring everyone). I am still living in NW London and loving life, it is the middle of winter and cold here, but I guess you know when you have been here for awhile when cold like this just seems to be normal. Christmas was an event at No. 23 and very different to last year's Christmas that Lou and I spent in Scotland. This year we were a motley crew everyones friends without family over here. I got so spoilt with loads of pressies thanks so much to everyone for your thoughtfulness it means a lot to me. So after pressies began the Christmas Day epic cook off who would have thought it would be such an epic, at least it was pretty stress-free thanks to the Team who were all really helpful, so after games of balderdash, buzz and cards and loads of food and litres and litres of cider we all went to bed very happy bunnies. My plans for this year are huge, you never know what is going to happen so want to try and make the most of my time on this beautiful world. I am planning a trip home in April and am very excited am hoping to spend time with all the locals and especially with the fam, i cant believe it will have been over 2 years since i have been back in aus, I am sure my accent has changed mmm am a bit worried about that may try and watch lots of neighbours and home and away before my flight to try and fix that. Back to work on Monday with the little Lynx's work is full on and very challenging, but also very rewarding. I cant believe it was so long ago when I decided to change to 'have a go' at teaching. I remember it so well thankfully I have had so many amazing people in my life to support me. So as we say goodbye to 2008 and welcome in 2009 I want to say thanks to everyone and Happy New Year!
