Merry Christmas and the dreaded packing...

I hope that everyone is well and had a fabulouse Christmas here is a pic of me at the pub for Christmas Lunch in Balarat, it is so easy going out for Christmas lunch. I am wearing a lovely blue bon bon hat as is customary for Christmas, I like to call it the eating hat! Not the best photo of me but oh well.

Who knew that packing was so depressing. I have thrown so much stuff away but there is still more, it is like a neverending process and it feels as though everything I like is going tobe packed and stored. BLAH

On the upside I am looking forward to New Year's Eve with the girls, it will probably be my last big night out with them sob, sob...

The journey begins

As most of the people who know me also know that I am leaving it seems strange to be writing this. In less than one month I will be leaving my fabulous home town of Melbourne which is currently sweltering in Summer sun for the damp, dark and cold London. As this is the first day of my holidays I thought it was an appropriate time to start this blog.

Throughout my trip hopefully you will be able to see the good, the bad and the ugly and for those at home don't despair I am sure I will be back.

Until I go I will fill this blog with the craziness of packing up a life and starting new including dealing with the red tape and the going away party.

Have fun reading and feel free to make comments.
